This page publicly documents Softball.love's SMS consent and double opt-in process used for recreational sports team coordination messaging.

Softball.love is a team management platform used to coordinate recreational sports teams.

No recurring SMS messages are sent until the player independently replies YES.

How SMS Enrollment Works

  1. A team captain invites a player through Softball.love.
  2. The player's phone number is added to the team roster.
  3. The player receives a one-time SMS invitation message.
  4. The player must independently reply YES to opt in.
  5. A confirmation message is sent.
  6. Weekly team coordination messages begin.
  7. Players may unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP.

Invitation SMS (Sent Once)

Softball.love:

Reply YES to receive team coordination messages including game reminders, availability requests, and schedule updates.
Approx. 1 msg/week per team.
Msg & data rates may apply.

Subscription Confirmation Message

What Messages You May Receive

Softball.love sends SMS messages only for team coordination purposes.

We do not send marketing, promotional, sales, or advertising SMS messages.

Messages may include:

  • Game reminders
  • Availability requests
  • Schedule updates

Message frequency: approximately 1 message per week per team.

Required User Action

You must reply YES to the invitation SMS to opt in.

No recurring team coordination messages are sent unless you independently confirm enrollment.
