I, the undersigned, give this Release, Waiver, and Hold Harmless Agreement to East Village Softball Association to induce the league to allow me to participate in the league’s sports and related activities (the “SPORTS”).
I acknowledge certain risks of personal injury inherent in the Sports, including but not limited the risk of serious bodily injury, permanent disability (including paralysis) and death (not withstanding the use of protective equipment and other safety precautions), together with other risks, whether known or unknown (“Risks”). I hereby knowingly and freely assume the Risks, even if arising out of or caused by the negligence of the League or others, and I assume full responsibility for my participation in the Sports. I agree to comply at all times with the terms, conditions, rules and regulations (the “RULES”) as shall be required by the League from time to time, which Rules shall be subject to change without notice. If I observe any unusual hazard during my presence or participation in the Sports, I agree to immediately remove myself from participation and to immediately bring such to the attention of the League. In addition, you waive your rights to sue or hold RSC responsible if you get sick from Covid-19 virus. I understand to follow all regulations and guidelines to protect myself and anyone in my team, around me and others. East Village Softball Association will not be liable for any sickness.
I, for myself and my heirs, successors, assigns, agents, employees, and representatives, hereby forever release, discharge, and hold harmless the League and its directors, officers, shareholders, employees, and agents (“RELEASEES”) from all the claims arising out of, related to, or in connection with my participation in the Sports, or loss or damage to person or property, even caused by the negligence of Releasees, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This agreement is valid in any court of the the law in the United States of America.
