The Free App for Adult Softball Leagues
Softball.love is a free league and team app built for adult recreational softball — the after-work slowpitch league, the coed Sunday league, the bar league. Commissioners get a league website, schedule and standings; captains get RSVPs and batting orders; players get a link, with nothing to download.
Built for how adult leagues run#
Adult rec softball has its own shape. Players sign up for themselves. Teams are organized by a captain in a group chat. Leagues are run by a volunteer commissioner who wants the schedule out and the standings right, without a monthly bill per team.
What a league gets#
- A public website with schedule, standings, teams, rules and news, on your own domain if you want.
- A schedule editor across divisions, with spreadsheet import and calendar feeds that update when games move.
- Umpires who report finals from their phone with your league's code, and standings that update when they do.
- Online waivers with e-signatures, and captain invites so captains run their own rosters.
- A listing in the Softball.love league directory and on your city's league page, so new players can find you.
What a team gets#
- One RSVP link for the group chat. Players tap In, Maybe or Out, with no account.
- Warnings when a player is booked on two teams at the same time, common in adult rec, where people play in several leagues.
- A coed batting order in seconds, an inning-by-inning fielding plan, walk-up songs and game-day weather.
What it costs#
Nothing. League and team features are free. Softball.love doesn't process registration payments, so leagues keep using whatever sign-up form they already have and link to it from their league page.
