Softball League Software for Commissioners
Softball.love gives a softball league commissioner one free place to run the season: a public league website, a schedule editor, standings that update when umpires report scores from their phone, online waivers, and captain invites. It's built for softball leagues of every age, youth and adult: rec, slowpitch, coed, men's and women's.
Your league gets a real website#
Every league gets a public site with its schedule, standings, teams, rules, news and photos, branded with your logo and colors. Point your own domain at it, or use a softball.love address. The site is built to be found: league pages are listed in the Softball.love league directory and on city pages like "Softball Leagues in Brooklyn, NY", so people searching for a league to join can find yours.
Add a How to Join section (registration status, fee, format and a link to your sign-up form) and a Where We Play list of your parks with map links, and the questions you answer every spring answer themselves.
Build the schedule once, keep it right all season#
Build the season week by week in the schedule editor, across as many divisions as you run, or import it from a spreadsheet. Captains and players subscribe to a calendar feed that updates whenever you move a game. When a game is cancelled, it reads struck out everywhere it appears, so nobody shows up to an empty field.
Scores from the umpire, standings without the spreadsheet#
Give your umpires your league's code. After the game they enter the final on their phone, with no account and nothing to download. The score posts, standings and tiebreakers update, and you can enter or correct any result by hand. Your tiebreaker order is a setting, not a formula you maintain.
Waivers, rules and captains#
- Waivers with e-signatures. Every signature is tied to the player and the exact waiver version they accepted, so you can see who still needs to sign.
- Rules page. Publish your rule sheet, and players can ask questions about it in plain language.
- Captain invites. Send one link; captains claim their team and manage their own roster, so you're not maintaining 150 phone numbers.
- Co-commissioners. Share the work without sharing a password.
Built for the commissioner who also has a day job#
Most rec leagues are run by one or two volunteers. Softball.love is free, there's no sales call, and you can have the league page live the same evening you sign up. When the season ends, a full backup export means your league's history is yours.
