Softball Team App for Captains

Softball.love is a free team app for softball captains. Share one RSVP link in the group chat and see who's in, build a coed batting order in seconds, plan who plays where each inning, and play walk-up songs from your phone. Players don't need an account or a download.

Know who's coming before game day#

Share your team's RSVP link in the group chat, by text or by email. Players tap In, Maybe or Out from their phone. You see the count for every game, with who changed their answer and when. If a player is on two teams with overlapping games, you'll see a warning next to their name before it becomes a forfeit.

Mark a player as injured or away for a stretch of dates and they're flagged on those games, so you don't count on someone who's on vacation.

A batting order in seconds#

Pick who's playing and Softball.love builds the batting order with the coed alternating pattern built in. Then set each player's position inning by inning, copy an inning across the rest, and check the defense on a field diagram. Nothing is assigned for you; it's your lineup, just faster.

Quick Lineup, the batting order tool, also works on its own, free, with no signup. It can announce each batter like a ballpark PA.

The fun part#

Players pick their own walk-up songs, and you play them from a simple soundboard on your phone. Every upcoming game shows the temperature and rain chance, and National Weather Service alerts surface early so you can call a rainout before people drive to the field.

Hand off the busywork#

• A helper for In/Out. Let a teammate manage attendance without giving them your login.
• Game tasks. Keep a per-game to-do list: balls, bases, the cooler.
• Player pages. Every player gets a home-screen page with their next game, their RSVP and their walk-up song.

In a league?#

If your league runs on Softball.love, your schedule and results come straight from the league, so you never retype a game. If it doesn't, create your own team and add your games yourself.
